.
DAY 2
City Walk with your own Private Guide (10:00-13:00)
During this tour with your private guide, you will discover the old Stavanger neighborhood, which consists of 173 wooden houses from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. In fact, this is the largest collection of wooden houses in Europe. We will walk through Øvre Holmegate, a modern street where all the houses are painted in different colors. In addition, we will visit Valbergtårnet, an old watchtower for the city guards and we will pass by the Stavanger Cathedral, the only Norwegian cathedral from the Middle Ages that has preserved its original architecture. We will hear stories of Stavanger’s stagnation and progress, from urban formation, through the industrial ages with herring and canned food, to the modern oil city of today. The tour ends at the Petroleum Museum, where we will get a better idea of everything that surrounds the black gold of Norway.
DAY 3
Boat trip in the Lysefjord to the Pulpit Rock (3 hours)
The city of Stavanger offers spectacular landscapes, including the Lysefjord, Solastranda beach and the Pulpit Rock. There are several fjords that are worth visiting. One of the most famous fjords in the area is the Lysefjord, a 42 km long fjord with rocky walls that rush into the water, almost completely vertically, over 1000 meters high. The Pulpit Rock is located 600 meters above sea level and is seen from the Lysefjord, but is even more impressive from above. If you wish to take part in the Hike & Cruise excursion (at a supplement), after a spectacular two-hour climb, you will enjoy fabulous views of the fjords!

The city of Bergen is the second largest city in Norway and the gateway to the fjords. Bergen is also known for its Hanseatic area, protected by UNESCO, its fish market and its seven surrounding mountains.
DAY 5
City Walk with your own Private Guide (10:00-12:00)
Your hotel is ideally located in the Hanseatic area of Bryggen, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Just a few steps from the hotel, you will travel back hundreds of years to the times when Bryggen was a bustling merchant center. We will also visit St Mary’s Church, the oldest preserved building in the entire city of Bergen.
Optional: Culinary excursion on the Bergen Fjord with five course seafood menu at Restaurant Cornelius (18:00-23:00)
Just outside the city of Bergen, you will find one of the most exotic attractions in the whole of Western Norway’s archipelago. Restaurant Cornelius is one of Norway’s best seafood restaurants and a meal here is truly unforgettable. Experience a 5-course meal at Cornelius including transportation from and back to Bergen on a scenic boat ride! Cornelius Seafood Restaurant is situated right by the sea on a small island with spectacular views of the fjord, mountains, skerries and the passing boats. Inspired by the weather of the day, Cornelius serves its famous Meteorological Menu of exquisite seafood and trimmings, prepared using innovative culinary techniques and with a genuine passion for seafood. You will get to taste both shellfish and fish in addition to a seasonal desert.
DAY 6
Excursion by boat on the Sognefjord and train to Flåm
The second longest fjord in the world, the Sognefjord, is in the heart of the region of the Norwegian fjords and is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Flåm railway was named “the most incredible train journey in the world” by Lonely Planet in 2014. During this 20 kilometer journey, you will pass deep ravines, waterfalls plunging from steep cliffs, snowy mountains, small farms clinging to steep slopes and lush meadows.
DAY 7
Optional RIB Safari in Bergen (50 minutes)
We depart from the centre of Bergen on a gentle cruise around the city and harbour and you will have a different perspective of the seven hills that surround the city. Moving away from the city and into the open fjords, the pace will soon pick up. The scenery swiftly changes as the cityscape is replaced with views of tiny skerries and offshore islands, some of which are linked to the mainland by huge suspension bridges. Out on the open waters, you are bound to experience an adrenaline rush, as your captain revs the engine and takes you on a thrilling high speed journey.
